Natasha Almeida
Natasha first discovered inner space and quiet as a child when she followed along with her mother’s hatha yoga record.
In 2001, when Natasha encountered Shadow yoga founders Sundernath and Emma Balnaves, she knew she had found living embodiments of the hatha yoga tradition. Through their guidance, she has cultivated her own sadhana for over 24 years, teaching for over 13 years.
Last year, Natasha completed her diploma in Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy with Body Intelligence. This course helped deepen her skills in awareness and the ability to be with deep stillness.
Both of these practices honor the deep inner wisdom we carry in our bodies and facilitate the inward journey to our true nature.
Monica Sander Burns
Monica undertook an unplanned deep rest retreat in 2020 when she lost her job due to the pandemic.
She spent 3 months wandering in the forest by her home in British Columbia, unlearning ingrained beliefs about productivity and worthiness.
During this time, Monica discovered the transformative potential of nature to help us rest, heal, and connect with our authentic selves.
Monica has since helped hundreds of people to find greater peace, clarity, and alignment through attunement to the Earth and her cycles.
Her guided nature sessions infuse eco-somatic experiencing, mindfulness techniques, play, sensory awareness and reflective prompts.
